Lola’s mother envisioned a portrait session that beautifully captured the bond between Lola and her horse—a blend of lifestyle imagery and heartfelt moments. She had just the perfect location in mind: a friend’s stunning property along Golden Gate State Road. The home is surrounded by expansive acreage and borders the edge of the state park, offering wide-open space and breathtaking natural beauty.

It was the ideal setting for Lola and her horse to roam freely, with rolling hills and meadows unfolding around them. As we began shooting, a storm slowly rolled in, casting a dramatic, moody overcast across the landscape. The soft, diffused light and brooding sky added a powerful sense of atmosphere, making the session feel both peaceful and cinematic. It was a truly special afternoon—natural and deeply meaningful.
