Cheyanne

One of the unique advantages of photographing in Colorado’s foothills is the extended fall season. While the vibrant foliage in the high country tends to fade by early October, the lower elevations—especially near Denver—often hold onto their autumn color well into late October and even early November. This makes it possible to continue capturing the golden hues of fall long after the mountain leaves have dropped.

Cheyanne took full advantage of this by choosing to have her senior session along Clear Creek Canyon, right in the heart of Golden, Colorado. The location offered the perfect blend of natural beauty and accessibility, with golden leaves still clinging to the trees and the soft sounds of the river nearby. We scheduled her shoot 2 hours before sunset to take advantage of the gentle, golden light as it dipped behind the canyon walls—an ideal setting for a warm, glowing atmosphere.

Cheyanne opted for the one-hour senior package, allowing us enough time for two outfit changes to capture different looks along the riverbank. The results were a stunning blend of natural tones, peaceful water, and Cheyanne’s style.
